Hospice and Palliative Care Training
For Veterinary Professionals
 
This 2 day session provides clinic staff the resources to immediately institute a hospice care program in their clinics. 

The training program was developed by Dr. Tami Shearer, who has has 22 years of practice experience utilizing hospice care.  She is known internationally for her work in pet hospice care: lecturing at the First International Veterinary Hospice Symposium, and contributing the first veterianary hospice chapter in the veterinary text book,  Handbook of Veterinary Pain Management. 
 
The topics are carefully chosen to contain content that allows for practical application in the care of pets with life-limiting disease.
